  • A wonderful place to stay and explore the regionWe have been going to TP’s site now for years and years. This year was no different as we stayed in his Campsite at Gallarus for a week at the end of August. As always TP and Aonna are always very friendly and helpful and always good company. They run a very good campsite. Everything is cleaned very frequently and it is always peaceful and well maintained. There is a very friendly atmosphere there, almost a community feel as many people return year after year while many others are just passing through, adding to the interesting mix. It is indeed quite laid back but be sure that they do not tolerate any messers !! It is a fabulous location if you want to explore the delights of the Dingle Peninsula. Lots of lovely walks, or cycle trips, within very easy reach of Slea Head and the stunning views of the Blaskets. It is also within east reach of the local villages of Ballydavid, Ballyferriter, Dunquin and Ventry and all the delights they offer by way of good pubs and good restaurants. Of course it is also within easy reach of Dingle and all the buzz of that thriving Town. Lots of top quality restaurants and lots of shopping opportunities. And of course the buzzing nightlife. So I strongly recommend this site and have been coming here since the early 1990s and haven’t been disappointed yet. Stayed August 2023
